Islam has always considered religion and science to be twin sisters.
It comes as no surprise to learn that today, at a time when science
has taken such great strides, they still continue to be associated.
Furthermore, certain scientific data may give a better understanding
of the Qur'anic text. Moreover,
in a century where scientific truth has dealt a deathblow to the religious
belief in the western world, it is precisely the discoveries of science
that, in an objective examination of Islamic revelation, have highlighted
the divine character of Qur'an.
