Taliban Execute Intelligence Chief; Take Three More Districts

Taliban spokesman Abdul Latif Hakimi has announced that the Taliban have
executed the Intelligence Chief of Ouruzgan province, Ahmed Ullah along
with his two bodyguards. The intelligence chief of Ouruzgan was taken
prisoner on Thursday from Taren Kot and this announcement signals another
phase in their war against Coalition forces and Afghan traitors. Mr. Hakimi
said that the bodies of these men will not be handed over to the government
until the bodies of Taliban men martyred in an operation some days ago
were returned.
At the same time, the spokesman also said that they have taken three
more districts in Paktia. No fighting took place in the capturing of these
districts. The Paktia police chief has denied the claims. (JUS)
